Before I download...

is it delivered in that standard sing-son slam cadence?

Actually, this episode is just an interview with Simon the host of The Slam Idol podcast. The poetry submitted to his show includes all styles of poetry. Some folks submit the sing-song style, some are traditional rhyming poems, and some folks even put theirs to music.

He plays one submission per episode until he has six poems then begins the voting process. Its a great way to check out multiple poets and styles.

The Slam Idol cast is pretty darn good... I have been hooked on that one for quite some time... the reading styles run the gamut.
