wondering if anyone's had any great, terrible or funny experiences with audio pod tours (of cities, museums, neighborhoods, etc)...

Shameless plug :) ...we've done a number of museum soundseeing tours. We got busted by security during a recent soundseeing tour at the Tate Britain. It was a little unsettling being surrounded by two security guards, but Kathleen and I had a good laugh once we left the building. I only wish that I had left the iRiver running to record the security people asking us what we were doing!

One of my listeners has asked for a soundseeing tour of calgary and my latest show does a brief tour of biking in Calgary. I think it is a great idea.

We've done a couple soundseeing tours. We were at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem and Carol almost got kicked out. And we went the "The Shuk" which is the old open market in Jerusalem that's been around for generations. Last week we did our show from the Haas Promenade which gives the most breathtaking view of Jerusalem.
