How to speed up iTunes feed submissions

I have a theory that might speed up getting your feed listed in iTunes.
I was experimenting around and submitted a feed and it showed up in iTunes
within a few hours. I didn't have an image tag for the artwork that represents the podcast.

Today I submitted a different feed WITH artwork and it still isn't showing up. I wouldn't doubt that feeds with images take longer to show up - simply because
someone could submit offensive images. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

it sounds good, but from what has been seen since 4.9's release, it is completely random to us not in the know.....

only the big jobber knows all about itunes submission standards.....

I've submitted two shows, both with image tags. The first took 2 days to show up in the directory. The other took almost 6 weeks. (It just went up yesterday)
