You haven’t given anyone any reason to check out your show, and one reason not to. (“I’m new.� Most new podcasts aren’t very good. It usually takes at least three or four shows before they start to hit their stride.)

Give people a reason to download your show. Describe it, and describe it honestly. Lot’s of newbees start out by describing their show as The Greatest Show Ever about Whatever.� No one believes that. Other’s make the opposite mistake: “It’s not very good, but check it out anyway.�
