i'm trying to get my feed off of itunes and I don't seem to be getting anywhere.
I have two listings that i want to get taken off. I've tried reporting this but its been two weeks and they are still up there. Can anyone help me with this? i'm at my wits end.

click on "report a concern", and say that "this certain podcast" is produced by child slave labor, and is fuelled by the animal porn industry....

just a suggestion......

I'll bet slave labor doesn't get them to take it off as fast as:

"This podcast keeps playing top 20 RIAA music."

"This podcast keeps playing top 20 RIAA music."Sad but true!!

Wondering how long it will be until we all get a nastygram from the RIAA's lawyers. Until then I'm playing all the Juan Maclean I can get my hands on!

Just add an <itunes:block> tag inside the <channel> element.

well re-upload the RSS file (if you deleted it off your comp you have to re-create it) to the exact same place it was before, and then add the <itunes:block> element to all of the items. Then wait a while for iTunes to go and re-cache your rss feed. That should work

Replace the MP3 files that the RSS points to with files that ask listeners to fill in the complaint form at iTunes asking that the show be removed?

I've added the itunes block tag. How long does it take for them to update?

You could click 'subscribe' several times. I'm pretty sure that will get you removed. In fact, they screwed us just last night. I was trying to subscribe to my show, as I haven't tried that with iTunes. I clicked 'subscribe' and nothing happened. This has happened to me with a few other shows, so I tried again. And again. After the thrid or fourth time, I gave up and closed iPoo. This morning, we're not in the directory. I've heard of this flaw in iPoo, but though you had to click 'subscribe' 100 times or so - not three. AND, I only did THAT because their crappy software wasn't recognizing that I actually DID want to subscribe to my show.
Bastards.

No reason to do anything illegal. Just start plugging the book iCon (http://news.zdnet.com/2100-1040_22-5686487.html) on your show.

Being new to podcasting, I'm curious why someone would not want to be listed somewhere. Isn't more listeners better?

Yea a lot of listeners are great but if you post something that doesnt work then you might want to take it down.
