Hi.

When I click on my podcast (Chiropractic OnLine Today's HealthBeat - in th Health section), I sound like a cartoon character....

This does't happen when I play within iTunes.... Is anyone else having this problem? How can it be fixed?

Thanks.

Todd.

There is a bug with the mp3 library in flash. To work around it you need to encode your mp3 at certian sample rates. use either 44,100 khz or 22,050khz. Your encoder probably defaulted to 32,000khz.

Note, this is the sample rate, not the bit rate.

Hi.

I'm using Propaganda to encode my MP3 files.... I'm looking for the default sample rate.... any ideas? I don't see anything under the Options area to change the Sample Rate.

Thanks.

Todd.

No clue.

I use Lame (http://mitiok.maresweb.org/) and the Razor Lame (http://www.dors.de/razorlame/index.php) Front End on windows. Lame is a command line program so that's why you would probably want to use a front end like razor lame.

I don't think this will be very helpful, but normally, when you go to "render" or whatever to MP3, there are options to change what sample rate to encode with (as oposed to looking through the options menu).

At least there are on the program I use.

Using a command line may be fine for you lazy SOBs but I prefer to use a keyboard with just two keys: a 0 and a 1.
