I get the following error, even though I have checked to see that I'm in the correct directory, have created a separate folder and navigated to it with Terminal, and have checked that the "-o" part is a reasonable name. I am inputting:
"../ChapterTool -x FibsEP.xml a- FibsEP.m4a -o FibsEP.m4b"
...but I get the following error message no matter what I do:
"ERROR: Please supply an output file name.
status: failed
code: -50"
Anybody else get this?

I'd say try removing the quotes if you are actually using them in your command and see if that helps, please let us know how it goes.

No, I actually didn't use the quotes. I've finally made it work. Thanks.

../ChapterTool -x FibsEP.xml a- FibsEP.m4a -o FibsEP.m4b
Looks like you needed to switch "a-" around to "-a", right? It's okay, we've all been there.

Hah! I'm sure that must have been it. Wow I totally missed that. Its amazing how your eyes project what you expect to see onto reality. **** mental block opitcal illusions.
