Hello All,
I'm new to podcast, in fact I just learned about it this week. I've searched extensively over the internet and all the info is a little overwhelming for me. I made my first attempt at a podcast several days ago.
My podcast will focus on Youth & High School Socecr here in Atlanta, GA and I had several questions about equipment needed. The podcast I made the other night was with a $25 Logitech desktop mic and recorded direct in Audacity. I didn't want to spend a lot a money on a setup unless the show gets a large audience.
I am also interested in doing remote interviews at soccer games or via phone. Since I don't own a laptop, what other methods can I use to ensure a decent remote or phone recording. I read through the forums and everyone seems to like the Iriver for interviews, I have the iRiver 256MB IFB-190TC, but when I play it back it sounds like a drive through speakerphone at Taco Bell, that was using the internal mic or my Logitech plugged into it.
Also I would appreciate any feedback on my podcast:

Thanks in advance,
Shawn
