I have just started doing a podcast with a friend of mine in New York (I am in Nebraska). I know very little about audio, but I really want to learn more.
We use Skype, and I record the conversation with HotRecorder. But I am ready to do a few more things with our show.
What I want to do is make it so that my counterpart in New York can hear audio that I play from my computer.
I am willing to do this either using software or hardware. I have been looking at mixers, and would love to have a reason to buy one, so that I could mess around with it. But if it isn't need, or would be overkill, I want to know.
Thanks for your suggestions!
