From my limited testing, it looks like iTunes 4.9 uses the title of the article (or in the rss, the title for the item) for the title of the podcast, not the title set in the id3 tags, when loaded in iTunes and in the iPod. And since iTunes dumps all the podcasts into the same playlist, right now it is a mess trying to figure out what podcasts go with what and in what order.
