Hey everyone,

I am planning on making a podcast, but I've got one problem. We have three hosts, and we want them to be chatting all together. The thing is, they don't live near each other, so we need a program to allow them to chat together and record the podcast. What software would we be able to use for them to chat, and podcast all together? (Ie: Skype, teamspeak?)

Thanks

Okay, you definatly are going to use something like Skype. IN fact, many shows are done using Skype conferencing. But wait, I hear you ask, how can they sound so good?!

The concept is that of the "Double Ender" and here is how it works. As you are doing the Skype conversation, each SIDE involved is recording. You do a count down to record. "3 2 1 Mark" and on Mark, everyone hits the record button. Then, do another "3 2 1 Mark" (at least I do) to allow for aligning later. Then, start the show! Your Skype conversation will sound, like, well, a Skype phone call.. but, after the show, all parties will take their personal recordings, send them to one person, and those will be tracked out.

Thus, you will have three different recordings that all capture each side of the conversation. Merge them together, add sfx, and go :)
