Neither Cohry nor I uses Ipodder. Cohry subscribes to things, and gets notified of new posts in the firefox rss extension, and then if he's interested, he'll visit the page and download it. I just don't subscribe to things.

The shows I like, I just visit the pages periodically and check to see what's new, and then listen to it.

Does anyone else do it like this?

For people like me, I think it's important to have a "download the mp3" link front and center. Often I have to go into the rss code and copy the url of the mp3, then paste it into the browser address bar just to get a show's mp3.

For true neoprimatives - You can just rewire your posimicrotrium adapter to the rss wifi aggregator... then you can transmit and recieve wherever.

Yes, I do something similar. I use Pluck, which allows me to syndicate the podcasts I listen to regularly (and also newsfeeds which I use for show prep), but all I get is a notice when there's a new show. I can follow the link to download the show, and I always download manually.
