Podcast Popularity-Radio W.C.

We have done 3 episodes, and I am just wondering how to get some popularity, and some 'buzz' on this thing. If I may say so, I think its quite good---liberal politics, rather unique, and comedy and some produced stuff (only one 'bit' thus far, but more to come)

It is in a lot of directories. Am I just impatient? will the audiences show up?

I expect maybe within a few weeks to make a promo and send it to the 'Podshow'......but kissing Adam Currys *** cant be the ONLY way?

I Always maintain that the best way to get listeners is to go out and get them from 'direct' marketing in forums and places where the types of people you want to listen go.

In your case, I am sure there are, I know there are, good forums and such for people that are of the type that would enjoy the show.

Keep coming to places like Podcast Alley to put your show in the 'new show announcements' and to keep up with other podcasters on news and stuff going on internal to the community.

But, for some real 'buzz' you have to get outside the podcast community walls. Unless your show is about podcasting! :)

That doesn't mean you won't pickup a slew of listeners that are from these parts. It just means that you won't get as many as it seems that you want.
