As many people as there are living in the Washington DC/Baltimore area, there have GOT to be some other podcasters around here. And given the density of the East Coast in general, there may be people willing to drive a couple of hours, given the right circumstances (I know I am).

I'm looking to start up a "DC Region" podcasting group. Nothing too formal. I'm basically looking for people to be part of a forums group or mailing list, and to maybe meet up once a month or so, just to hang out and talk about podcasting (or life in general, for all I care). I'm not picky on where you're at -- if you're willing to meet in whatever the group decides is a good, centralized location, I don't care if you're local or not!

If you're interested, reply here or send me a private message.

Thanks!

Maybe you guys could come to the Southeast Podcast Meet being organized by Derek of Skepticality in Atlanta the third week in August, too.

Yea, poor DC and Virginia, end up in the No-Mans land in-between the South and the North-East.

You are welcome to come down to the ATL and join us though, as Patrick mentioned! :)

Cool! I'll definitely try to head down there! Not sure it'll work out because of the expenses involved, but I'm still checking into it. If there's a way I can go, I'm going!

Hello,

Just an FYI, I created a Maryland Podcasters group about a month ago. I haven't had time to promote it or try to get more members. But it's there if people want to join.
