Help Adding Podcast to Blog

I have a blog at blogger.com and I would like to add podcasts to my blog. Now, I am not a tech-savvy person, but I have a hosting service picked out that I would like to use to host my podcast files. Now, my questions are

Does anyone know how to add podcasts to blogger.com blogs?
and
Do I need a domain name to be able to place podcasts on my blog?

Podcasts are just MP3 files, so you'd add them to blogger the same way you'd add any other MP3 file. The only thing that makes them unique is the subscription model, and all you need for that is an RSS file, which you'll also make available on your blog. You'll find lots of information in the threads here about RSS files, and google will give you any additional details you need.

You don't need a domain name unless you're going to set up your own site.

If I buy hosting, can I place a link on my blog to where the file is hosted and have people download it without a domain name?
