Hey everyone!
Myself and my good friend Rayza have started VGDJ: The Official OverClocked ReMix Podcast. OverClocked ReMix (http://www.ocremix.org)(OCR) is an online community of people who recognize and appreciate VG music. Along with an extensive and active forum board are over 1300 podsafe mixes of video game music from the old to the new and in all forms, creating a database of radio-worthy music inspired by the soundtracks of our favorite games.
Each week (sunday nights) Rayza and I present reviews of the latest and greatest mixes added to the OCR collection, plus provide some scene news. We try to interview the mixers when we can to get some insight on how the mix was made. We also have regular segments where we play a random song in its entirety from the OCR database.
Our goal with this 30 minute weekly show is to broaden OCR's audience and remind people of this often forgotten genre.
