Hi, I'm pretty new to podcast's, and I can't seem so find any good all music no talk podcasts... I like most of the music on for example the "speechless" podcast, allthough I don't care if the music has vocals or not. What I dislike is all the talking before and after each tune.
Like the speechless guy repeat's himself often, and goes through the concept for each and every show, and while traveling to and from work, reading the newspaper an such, the last thing I need is alot of talking, and be treated as an idiot that doesn't get the message the first time.
So, could you guys give some links to great ALL MUSIC, little or no talk podcast's? (minimum 128kbit quality)
Thanks so much!

if you like electronica you might want to check out my solipsisticNATION podcast. The only talk is to announce what songs I played.

My show is an hour with very little talking, just announcing the tracks. First show is up and the second will be up this weekend.

Weekly music DJ shows have been long been in the scene before the birth of podcasts. If you like Trance, check out this link for weekly DJ shows: http://www.etn.fm/torrent.asp

Hey, even though you're looking for a show without talk, I recommend mine simply because I work hard to get great independent music to play.

I get some of the BEST music out there. I think it's amazing I get to spin it on my show.
There are always 4 songs per show.
Anyhow! GOod luck!

our show is hosted by musicians. so we're not really hosts so much. it's by a group of musicians who predate podcasting. and a different one of us each week. in a different city. sometimes cali...sometimes london...sometimes texas...sometimes new york...etc.
it's less of a radio show and more of a hodgepodge of music geekery.

Luke does ramble at times, however, I find his comments to be very well informed and relevant. What Speechless has is probably the best show notes of any podcast, forget music podcast, any podcast.
Take the time to follow his links and investigate the musicians that you like from his show. A lot of them have download links for their audio. Download a collection into a e.g. "Via Speechless" folder and add that folder to your Media Player. Then set up a playlist for the folder.
Bingo, a custom, music only "podcast".

The Mashup of the Week (http://www.podcastalley.com/podcast_details.php?pod_id=1990) podcast puts out each song as a single podcast, no talking around it.
Is that the sort of thing you meant?

Hi Torben,
I make a music podcast every week. I do talk because I like people to know what music I'm playing. However, I just announce songs and often play 2 or 3 tracks at once.
You can try Karin Themed Songs podcasts by using the links in this message.

Torben,
I just subscribed to a Dutch podcast called soloradio.
It's only music and no talking, so perfect for you.
The feed is http://www.solomedia.com/soloradio.php

Try http://www.ultimathule.info/xml/Ultima_Thule_Ambient_Music_Radio.xml for a 90-minute weekly dose of chatter-free intelligent ambient and atmospheric music from across the ages and around the world.
We've been doing it since 1989 so we like to think we're pretty good at it.

Thanks guys so far!
I've been checking the thread and adding the podcast's, if anybody want's I can get back on which has stayed on my subscribtion and which has left, but I'd like this thread to be a list that other people looking for the same thing as me can use, so keep 'em comming!!
This will get a bit long so feel free to skip along..: :-)
On the speechless subject, that was just to use one example as there are probably tons like it. The thing that annoys me is when you can hear that the host really likes to hear his own voice. Makes non-funny jokes and laughs about them, pauses, mention their or other peoples websites more than once and just in genereal takes a long time talking about everything and nothing.
I agree the speechless show has great varied music, he's good at picking artists and introduce them. So I do subscribe and listen to it, I just have to fast forward alot, especially when listening to second, third and fourth time, and my mp3 player really sucks at fast forward so sometimes it skips to the next track. I could just download the specific songs of one or two of the show's artists on their respected websites, but that kind of defeats alot of the idea about podcast and what I like about it.
