I got a little peek at Pupuplayer Pro yesterday and have to say wow.
Thank God Ben hasn't been picked up by the Illuminati yet. It's coming.

Howdy folks,
I saw the Pupuplayer Pro too and it's really quite cool.
It's a very clever feature to have a slideshow along side the audio that's playing.
Just thought I'd give my two cents and say that this is a really stylish and functional player.

Hey folks. I have some great new tidbits on the pupuplayer site. http://www.pupuplayer.com
For podcast listeners: If you click on "FREE Player" There are some flash elements that allow you to just input a feed and click "Listen now". It launches the PupuPlayer with the podcast feed you specified.
For podcasters: click on "Free Player" and scroll down to the Code Generator. Type your feed into the input field and click 'generate'. In that gray area below, it will create the code for you! Just copy and paste that code to your HTML webpage where you want the "Listen Now" button to appear.
I'm going to create a variety of buttons for you to choose from so you the buttons might fit better into your site design.
Let me know if you guys have any trouble. Thanks. :)

VERY slick and very easy to use. Call me impressed.
I've seen this on The Bitterest Pill site for a while and always thought it was pretty slick.

Wow, that is pretty cool. Now if someone was listening to my podcast using a player on my site would my web log still gather stats on them? Would I be able to see how many people are using the player? Is that the same as a download? Does it use up anymore bandwidth than just downloading the MP3.
Thanks for the info!

Your listeners will most likely go through your site to use your PupuPlayer. So yes, your weblog should gather stats on most of them them. If you use sitemeter, the player will probably show up as an 'exit page'. I'm hosting the actual player on my site, so they will only be downloading your feed and your mp3 files they request them.

OK. I get it. The player itself is on your server. I have my stats program set to track my individual MP3 files so the extra traffic the player gets will be reflected in the downloads for the MP3, right? Very cool. You can expect a pro order from me very soon. Thanks!
