Where is everyone getting their custom avatars from? I feel left out!

I made mine with photoshop and then uploaded it to my profile....and I am quite proud of it :)

The funny thing is Joe, your "generic" avatar looks like a self-drawn cartoon I did of myself years ago when I only had pupils. Weird.

Mine came from the Chandra Xray Observatory site (it's actually a Hubble Space Telescope image -- credit NASA/CXC/SAO) and then photoshopped the text - I consider the Eta Carinae photo to be among the best of the many spectacular images Hubble has given us.

I thought I had the coolest avatar...until Len came along. You rock! I absolutely love my cartoon.
