My iPodderX crashes every time I start it up. According to the iPodderX forums I'm not the only one. Unfortunately, no word from the developers. Anyone got the skinny?
And before you ask, disconnecting and reconnecting my network didn't work.
Thanks in advance.

While I don't have trouble with iPodderX crashing, I have a lot of problems getting this piece of software to do what it was intended to do. Many others are as well. The developers (Ray and August) are quick to answer user posts about their problems but they only have one solution: "Your problem will be fixed when versions 3.0 comes out which is very soon." Only problem is that they have been saying this for months!
Don't pay money for this POS. If anybody knows of a good podcasting client I'd love to hear your thoughts.

You'd think they'd be smart enough to offer the people having problems beta copies of 3.0. Hopefully Apple offering podcast support in the next iTunes release will light a big enough fire under these guys butts that they'll spend the next two months until iTunes 4.9's release turning iPodderX into something you can't live without instead of something you can't live with.
Joe, have you tried deleting the preferences file? (Somewhere in your ~/Library/Preferences folder.)

Sorry I don't post earlier but my iPodderX is working fine now. Apaprently it was an error on their end.
I'm actually quite happy with iPodderX, although I suspect that once iTunes is podcast enabled I will be dropping the app. What I really had a problem with was iPodder. I was disgusted with it that I was willing to spend $10 on iPodderX.
Oh, Erudite.Warrior, looks like you're my home boy. Boston was my town and I lived in Cambridge a good number of years. Please tell me the Chez Cafe is still around. They mdae the most incredible Cuban sandwiches!

They gave me a copy of the beta; it works ok but it's still buggy and is confusing in terms of interface, at least for me. I've switched to NetNewsWire, the only podcatcher that makes me feel like I'm in control.
