Does anyone know of a way to listen to shows on your phone?

I have a hard time keeping my iPod charged and with me when i need it, but i always have my cell phone with tons of extra minutes. I think it would be great to be able to listen to podcasts in those in-between times when you're stuck with nothing to do (dr's office, waiting for kids to get out of school, grocery shopping, etc.)

Maybe if this (http://www.mobiletracker.net/archives/2005/04/27/nokia-n91) were your phone. Then all you would need is an iPodder for SymbianOS, and you would no longer need a PC to download your podcasts...

-David, gadget wonk.

I do - but I have a Treo 650. Don't need an iPod with one of these puppys on your belt. I use it to record my podcast too...

Just buy an Iriver and keep a box of AA batteries handy!
Everyone with an Ipod will eventually have to buy either a new Ipod or an overpriced proprietary battery. Kudos to all the mp3 players who got it right with the AA battery!

Wow- expensive phone man!

That's why i spent the $50 extra for apple care :D Free batt replacement for 2 years. I know it'll only equate to 1 change, but hey, that's one free NEW ipod when I get it done!

I packed my iPod and only used my iRiver as a podcast playback device on my last trip back from Spain to Florida - 7 hours on one AA battery. The interface is a little clunky, but I can't tell you how frustrating it is when you run out of iPod juice and there's still three hours to go and only re-runs of Everyone Loves Raymond on the aero-tele...

I love my 899... who knew it would be such a good player as it is a recorder.
I now need another! Thank goodness for Father's Day!

i have a phone with mp3 capabilities and usb blue tooth stick (only cost a few quid) which i plug into my pc - takes a few minutes to get a short show on my phone.

it only holds 30mb though so ipod is better!

The MacCast for 6/18 mentions a way to allow you to request tracks from iTunes to be played over your phone. It's pretty cool, actually...you send a text message to your email, and the track is phoned back to you via SkypeOut.

Very hacky, only for geeks, but still cool.

How much does one of those cost? That would be awesome to podcast through my phone.
