lost at libsyn

does anyone with an account there just use it for media storage.

because i uploaded my mp3 files there. but i can't find them. i made a broadcasts folder in the media folder. maybe that's where i went wrong. but there's no weblink. the support guy said you can't dir the media folder. but you should be able to access individual files in there.

but i get a can't find that file message.

did this happen to anyone else.? the support there seems pretty overloaded.

It's a great service so I'm not surpised. I've always uploaded the files to the root dir and then made a blog post echoing the show notes I put up on bitjobs.net. Using the Quickcast option is also good, but you really need your ID3 tags to be spot on.

I would imagine it has something to do with the folders and their auto-archiving at the end of your monthly billing cycle. My guess is that the archiver isn't set up to handle folders properly.

I've been using Libsyn for some time now to host my MP3s like you, and have never had any issues with it... in fact, I've been very impressed with the speed of their servers.
