View Full Version : What Hardware equipment are you useing?

I figured there is a lot of talk about equipment, but what i am curisous about is what are the podcasters here using to do recording. And how is it setup. I think this could be benificial people posting this to get an idea of what all is used out there in podcasting, and it gives people an idea of where to start looking.
Personally i just use a Logitech Headset that i got with UT2K4

It works ok. I just use that with audacity. So it is very low budget because I got the headset free basically.

My setup is pretty much this: In the studio, AKG C1000s mic into Digidesign Mbox/Pro Tools Mac G4 Powerbook. On the go, iRiver 899 with SoundProfessionals "stealth" stereo mic (which is inside a set of headphones). Sometimes I'll even go with the iRiver mic. Pretty simple.
