Tim Elliott of Winecast and I teamed up awhile ago. Ever so often, he comes on Eat Feed and gives great wine recs. In effect, he brings his podcast over to mine. It's a great time. And of course we give greater exposure to each other's shows.

Just wondering who else is doing stuff like this where podcasters have each other on or try to create some kind of inter-podcast project?

Since my co-host is out of town this week, I am cross casting at least twice this week, with Mr. X and Just Julie and with The Metal Show. Should be a fun time.

That is totally like our last podcast!!
The Audio Collective and The Ponderplace Podcast had a joint Podcast for our last show. We had a total of 7 people at once, including a listener. It was great a lot of fun to do and even more fun to listen to.

Tonight. we did an interesting experiment...which might be a podcast first. We did a cross-cast with Mr. X and Just Julie. They were guests on our show, and I was a guest on their show.

You can hear their version here: http://www.podcastgalaxy.com

And you can hear my version here: http://jawboneradio.blogspot.com

My favorite cross-cast to date was TUTTWHYME.

For those not "in the know", it was a cast between Tracks Up The Tree and Worst Music You've Ever Heard. Kill-er. (Of course, they did it many weeks ago)

By the way, where has Funtime Ben ... been? He used to OWN these boards. Perhaps that bird has flown. We miss you, FTB!

The "cross-cast" between the audio collective and the ponderplace podcast, was indeed a thought provoking experience, many ponderings all found in one place...perhaps a ponder place? The different fun topics were a collective of super neato audio...and audio collective of sorts.
You need to check it out!

I think we've all learned a couple of things from my post.
1. I'm pathetic
2. I'm bored at work
3. Cross casting is better in podcasting then in fishing...when you get your lines crossed and stuff...not fun.
4. I still need to figure out how to do the quote thing in these forums.
5. Just Pete is a powerfull force in the podosephere
6. I don't know how to spell podosphere
7. Happy trails kids

*blush*

(yes, I realize there's an emoticon which would have properly related the same emotion without going on and on and on with letters and symbols. I guess I'm just old school. Shout out to all you MUDD playas who have been emoting since '93)

If anyone else wants to be a guest on the audio collective just let me know and well make it happen.
I think it would be cool if more podcasts started joining forces. If was so fun to hook up with the Ponderplace and I know we are going to do it again sometime.
We should start a thread where people can talk about being on each other’s shows.
