I tried it and it seemed pretty slick. I'd make a few changes if I had my drothers, though. I'd like it to be like audacity (in the sense that I can move tracks around) as well as like mixcastlive (in the sense that I can play clips while recording at the same time).

oh so it doesn't have a function that allows you to record the whole show live running clips like carts etc?
boo, that kinda takes most the point of using it out of it for me. guess i'll wait til they add the functionality.

It is basically just a slimmed version of their MixMeister software...but for podcating. If you want a program to link files together this might be a good option, but is difficult for multitracking. As for being able to record live, while the more advaned MixMeister programs allow you "play live," you are basically just mixing ahead of where it is playing back.

If mixcast live allowed you to edit like audacity as well as recordl live and create an xml file and upload to a server, it'd be difficult to beat.
