Remember that program that had a promo on the Source Code a week or so ago? It was for Mac, but one of the features was that it would grab the shownotes for the podcast and stick them your iPod as "notes". I know that this has been discussed in terms of a podcasting tool (i.e. how to put your shownotes out there), but is there a way for me to, say, get the latest Dawn and Drew and have the notes put directly on my iPod?

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before; I did a search but couldn't find much. I know how hostile forum folks can be about reposts, but the Podcast Alley guys and gals seem pretty hospitable.

Thanks so much!

Hi-

On the PC side, RSS Radio does this. Best client I've found out there.. I can't say enough good things about it.

I totally agree that this is a needed feature. Hopefully the ipodder.sourceforge.net guys will add it.

The clock is ticking on the release of iTunes 4.9. I suspect it is going to change everything. If you have been following some of the blogging on this or heard AC gush after his journey inside the loop (Infinite Loop), it sounds like the world of podcasting is going to be transformed forever.

We have already heard that Apple will make it easy to tie photos to podcasts. Would you not suspect that they have considered how to handle show notes as well?

To hear AC tell it, Apple has thought of everything. It's going to be an exciting time.
