Adding show descriptions with Rizzn.net

Well, I started my podcast before I really knew how to do it. I used Rizzn.net as the host, mainly becuase I did not know how to do RSS. Now I can see how simple it is. I could host my own RSS feed and edit the show descriptions there.

The thing is I stated with Rizzn.net and now all the directories have that feed address. But it does not seem I can edit individual show descriptions becuase that part of the site is broken. When will they fix it? Is there a way to do it and I am just missing it?

I found rizzn.net to be a good starting point, but pretty buggy. If I were you I'd start a new feed with feedburner and start using that one. Send emails to each one of the directory sites petitioning them for a change. That's the number one complaint that I have with podcastalley and other sites; if you change your feed, website, email, anything it's very difficult to get it changed. I've had to send multiple emails to some of the directories. Send from different email addresses if they don't respond; they will eventually.

What I was doing for the month or so I hosted on Rizzn was edit my description before posting each show. Then the show notes were attached to the RSS document and would be pulled with your aggregator.
