FeedBurner Raises Funds For Further Expansion

FeedBurner, a free "feed enhancement service", has announced that it has completed a $7 million dollar second round of financing for the company. The need for additional financing coincides with a rapid growth in the service, which now has over 40,000 active feeds.

In FeedBurner's announcement, they noted that "All of the free publisher services that we now offer will remain free, and we will continue to expand our suite of free publisher services."
