Hello. My name is Vil Vodka. Along with being a fellow podcaster (Vodka Tonic Radio - podcast edition http://vodkatonicmedia.com/podcast.htm ), I also run a record label in which we are currently trying to brand through podcasting (much in the same fasion indie labels brand themslves by releasing compilations). In the interim before we release our first record, we are doing some radio promotion for some bands, just to get our feet wet. Personal broadcasters and podcasters are among priority targets.

Last month we introduced the E1S Experiment, which is a concept involving electronic one-sheets that can be either solicited or stumbled upon (much in the same way everyone on here has stumbled on cool music on the web at least one time or another). The other cool thing about our E1S webpages is that you can subscribe to our RSS feed to find out about new ones.

Here are links to the E1S pages of albums that we are promoting. If you are interested in receiving a free promotional copy of any of these albums, just fill out the form on the bottom of the E1S.

Here is our E1S feed

And here are two articles on our website explaining the concept and use of E1S webpages.

Another great site is 15 Megs of Fame (http://www.15megsoffame.com).

And here's why...music podcasters can download and cast ANYTHING ON THERE. They're using a Creative Commons Sharing Liscense for ALL of the music on there so you can do whatever you want with it...now THAT is a great site for music.

Oh yeah, and if you didn't know, you could sign up as a Garageband affiliate Podcaster and have complete access to their entire library...that's what i do...

Here is another Pod Safe Music site that we are working on: http://www.podsafeaudio.com/

We are just getting started so if there are any artists out there that you would like to hear on Podcasts, send them to this site so they can upload their music!

All of the music on this site is protected by the Creative Commons license as well, and is available for personal use, podcasting, webcasting and mashups.

And its all free!

Come say hi in the forums.

See you there.
