Hello, I was wondering is there any Content Management Systems that you can run on a site that is an easy to use web application for Podcasters. Basically one that allows you to manage all posts, podcasts, and lets you upload the podcast throught the browser and dynamically generate/update the feed.

Does anyone know of anything like this i can't seem to find it if there is.

Maybe I don't understand the questions, but dosn't most Blog software do this? I'm using WordPress and it's working for all this... again, maybe I don't understand.

I'm sure that kind of simplicity is on it's way, but when I last looked (a month ago) There was a lot of blog software that did enclosures automatically, but you still had to know how to ftp/upload a file by hand and then link to it in your post.

Mind you, that isn't hard, but it's not yet automagical.

I just use Nucleus CMS with a Podcasting plug-in. I was already using it for my other blogging so I just made a seperate blog for the podcast feed. Works just fine.

This doesn't exist? Suprises me.

When I get time I will make my system availible - www.apeboymonkeygirl.com - www.bandtrax.net . Not the best looking but pretty simple to operate. And is all dynamic. Was going to add a comment area soon also.

I have two (and soon more) RSS feeds on my site so I couldn't use "just" the RSS spit out by my blog, so I use feedforall.com and I love it, I also use blogjet.com so if I have a show with music, I put in the show notes as the music is playing. When the show is over, I enter the name and file size in feedforall, and upload both the rss feed, and the show notes. It's great. But then again, I wold only use this system if you needed multiple feeds for one site. In the future I might have a feed for each genre of music.

Some days ago I released Loudblog 0.2. The free Podcasting CMS now comes with audio commenting and ID3 tag editing. Have a look: http://loudblog.de

that loudblog thingy is freaking cool! Of course it would be neat if you could record the audio right there in the browser through the flash (for the audio comments that is).

Unfortunately you would have to have the Flash Communication Server installed - which is an expensive and highly exotic product.

We’re working on a Java-based solution, which is not that elegant as Flash, but hopefully will work correctly for most users.
