wasn't really sure where to put this...i guess it qualifies as technical discussion
anyway

i've have one or two podcast subscriptions that, when played in itunes, have a picture accompanying them that shows up in the album art thing. How can i get this on my own media and stuff? i'm pretty sure it doesn't come with the feed, coz i took a look at the xml file and there really were any picture links or anything. anybody know anything about this?

thx

I don't know how other people encode their shows, but in iTunes it gives you an option of adding your own artwork to the file before you encode. That's what I do.

If you use liberated syndication you can add a picture to the id3 tag. I guess I wasn't thinking it would be necessary but it might be a good idea.

What size should you use for proper viewing within ipod photo?

I just add it in iTunes.

On windows, right click on the track and choose "Get Info" and one of the tabs you can add album art.

When I make an MP3, for example, before I publish a Podcast, I play it in Windows Media Player and right-click on the mp3 title and select "advanced tag editor".
I can add loads of info on there, and a picture, web links etc...
Try it.
