i'm new. my name is alissa. this is my first day here. i am on a few other forums. but mostly for audio geeks. though i used to be a scientist. so i'm pretty fascinated by gadgetry of all kinds.

i registered at a couple podcast directories. but i think i'm falling prey to the RSS atom wars. (i'm not really sure though)

audio geek - n. person who talks ad nauseum about things pertaining to audio. one who prefers the company of audio gear over incessant babbling about so and so's ex. lifestyle can be conducive to pale complexion, overly black wardrobe, highly refined sensibilities with regard to mom jokes, antisocial behavior, and in extreme cases rock stardom.
