How old is podcasting? I mean when did it start. Also is it still considered new or not?

Yeah it took less time for Social Networking to be seen for the bore that it is. Good thing most (but not all) podcasts are more exciting. ;)
I think the Wikipedia "podcast" page HAS to be the most popular on their site. Everyone links to it. . . :lol:

More like August of 2004. We did the first BlogosphereRadio show around September 4th, and we were a couple weeks late.

Ah ok. How long do you expect it to last? Is it going to stay around for a while like blog's or do you think it might die out. I personally think that it will be around for a while.

I started in November 04...I feel like an old man in the podcasting community LOL...although Radio Zoom, Mashup, Adam Curry, NorthWestNoise and DnD were all in place and are still up there -
What I was mainly listening to then, and mostly now funnily enough...
