No, I haven't gotten this to work yet (it's been 3 weeks) I've been to Sam Ash in NYC several times and they say it's simple and I just can't connect it to my PC. I would try using the Mac but I'm not as familiar with it as I am with my PC.

So, technically- I'm not recommending this setup because I'm not sure if it really works.

I can talk into my mic and hear it when I use headphones in the monitor jack but I've tried Audacity, Cakewalk, Live, and Fruity Loops and I've got no input into the PC.

Any help would be appreciated. I bought this stuff, like I said, 3 or 4 weeks ago and it's collecting dust.

Until I get it working, I'm using a USB headset and Audacity with Noise removal.

Sometimes getting the USB drivers to work with the PC can be 'tricky'... But this is a fairly common setup that you describe so take heart, I'm pretty sure it should work.. (not my setup so I won't say 100%)....

Things to check (though I'm aware you've probably been noodling around with these settings but I'll say them anways).

1) M-Audio Drivers Installed and activated (make sure audiophile USB shows up in your windows sound menu and select them)

2) M-audio menu: sounds like you should have analog input and output checked - leave the SPDIF settings unchecked (unless the Behringer has SPDIF outs which I don't think it does)

3) If Audacity has any menus where you can select the 'wave in' and 'wave out' drivers - make sure the audiophile USB drivers are checked. (I don't know audacity but I'm sure there must be help and support bbs' around for it since it's pretty widely used)

4) make sure your bit depth on your m-audio setup panel is the same as on the file you plan to record to in Audacity
