Hi,

I'm having trouble getting my podcast, Simulacrum, to interact right with ipodder. I've tested the xml and there seem to be no errors, but the 2nd episode wont download.

Any ideas? I'd really appreciate your thoughts,

Chris

Don't know if this helps, but try reversing the order of your <item>. In other words, latest show first listed.

I think (but not sure) that a lot of readers and aggregators look through the XML until they see something that already existed, then stop. That keeps the aggregators from downloading ALL of the podcasts every time.

Does that make any sense at all? Again, I'm just kind of guessing here.

Sue is right (as usual *grin*)

iPodder currently only grabs the latest podcast and that according to RSS standards is the first one it runs into. Always make sure your latest cast comes first.

Some other readers (and the next version of iPodder) will allow you to download multiple shows. Much more Tivo like.

Have you tried "pinging" your xml file?
