I dont understand how podcasts get thier ratings

I don;t know how often they keep it updated, but there's a list based on subscriptions at iPodderX.com (I think it only tracks subscriptions using iPodder, iPodderX and other Podders that use the iPodder API).

if you go to http://www.feedburner.com you can re-route your RSS feeds through there and they give you a detailed breakdown...it's what I use and I love it!
