lol, my dear, you do make me chuckle, is that the best you can do? to summise my last post in a less abusive way, the point im trying to make is that whenever i, or a lot of other people, try to express their views on the situation with you being a radio station, or you being rude or just their point of view on anything, whilst still trying to maintain a modicum of objectivity, you immediately jump on their back, wading in like a truck in an egg store. for example, i posted about being semi concerned about the money-for-votes scheme at podtower, saying it may lead to even more badblood between what is for the most part a friendly community, but that ill support it anyway, and you attacked me for no reason calling me a commie and a whiner.

why? do you have some sort of superiority complex that involves you putting down all other podcasters? to be honest, this community seems to be full of respect and good feeling, even if someone doesnt agree with someone elses views, they dont start throwing insults around, (myself not included :P), and as i said, are respectful to the other people putting in their time and effort to create podcasts.

and, as you dont seem to act in a mature or respectful manner, you get what you give sonny jim, i.e. no respect, and a general consensus that people dont want you here. i reccomend being less boorish and perhaps more open minded, you are, spokesperson for 'free talk' so why are we not allowed free speech without insult? (i keep sounded hypocritical, but go with me here :P) its easy, all you have to do is grow up a bit and then you wont need to spend time defending yourself, because people will respect you, and perhaps, just maybe, you might start getting some votes that are actually real ;)

my 2p

Rob

p.s. lets all hug and make up shall we? together we can make the community something far more amazing than individually trying to elbow our way to the top. peace and love or something ;)

It's hard to respect those who dish out insults and hatred, but I always do my best to respond without insulting back. I don't think calling you a communist counts as an insult, considering Chairman Mao is your icon. However, calling me an "ignorant hick" certainly does.

At least I got you to laugh. This is fun, isn't it?

yeah it always surprises me that some people confuse libertarianism with having a party and not having to pay for it

it always amazes me that some of those who seem to value *free speech so highly actually seem to have a problem with free speech *different to theirs*.

my suggestion is go preach to converted elsewhere - cos the hand aint listenin'

I'm a little confused. Some clarification questions to follow.

What is that in reference to?

Sorry man, I went to government school. I'm doing my best to decode what you're saying... let me see if I have it straight:

You think that I have some problem allowing others to speak? Is that what is meant by "having a party and not having to pay for it"?
