Free Talk Live
Tampa Bay, FL

Free Talk Live is a Syndicated Talk Radio Show, on-air since 2002. We're not your grandfather's Talk Radio! Free Talk Live is talk radio YOU can control. We'll talk about anything from politics to personal issues. Instead of being pro-republican or pro-democrat, we're pro-FREEDOM. (Libertarian) We're on LIVE 6 days a week! We have always given away our archives, and podcasting is a natural evolution of that.

Forgive me please, but doesn't the global nature of the internet pretty much trump any regional grouping? If you wanted to throw a party and invite people from the southeast, I could see that, but otherwise a podcast from Tampa would be just as interesting to me(and, i would think most people) as one from Canada.

From the perspective of just enjoying someone's show that's true, but there's also a regional aspect to the interent that can be harnessed in all kinds of ways, provided the info is available. For example, let's say I owned a comic book shop (I don't, but I love comics) and I am able to find out through a regional podcast directory that there's someone doing a science fiction podcast in my area. Maybe they'd be interested in an in-studio interview, or doing the 'cast from my store. The same could be true for folks who are politically active, niche hobbyists, it doesn't really matter what the topic is, there's a lot of potential synergies when you can connect people in rl as well as online.

We are the only podcast I know of from the area. Please correct me if I am wrong.
