Hey, John—
Great radio voice!
I downloaded the XML file you posted:
http://www.itsthezoo.com/zoopodcast1.xml
It doesn't download as an .xml file, but as an .html file. So my question to you is, what are you using as a text editor? And does it allow you to save files with the .xml extension, or are you saving it as an .html file and then changing the extension after the fact?
I'm new at this, and have had RSS woes (of a different nature), but I'm using GoLive, which seems to handle it okay. What I actually did was control click (right-click on a Windows machine) on someone else's .xml file and choose "save file as." Then I gutted the file and replaced the innards with my own information.
Another thing that's a little odd, when I use my volume control to adjust the volume of your cast, it actually only adjusts the right side. Never heard that happen before.
Good luck! Let me know if you get it figured out.

In my opinion, I would never do my RSS by hand. I would either use Word Press (And feedburner to make my itunes tags) wich spits out an RSS feed or Libsn (http://libsyn.com/signup.php?ref=74b3efcb529e2483e031c93e94492bc6)(w hich does all of the above).
