:x What is WRONG with these two? I can not believe what they have done. Not only is it tragic that the Pope has been sick for years, but these two decided to make fun of his Holiness in a very inappropriate way. I hope people they come to their senses and cut out this nonsense.

I loved the Pope bit on Thing 17. Yaz, you rule. Of course, I’m an angry Atheist stuck in Jesus Land so any chance I get to hear someone else smacking the brainwashed is well worth a chuckle.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the Misfits tunes Bibb and Yaz played for us all on Thing 17. Having been a fan since the 80s of that sort of music and having followed the Misfits through all of their incarnations, I must agree with Bibb that they do rock. A reunion would be awesome but who knows…and I doubt they’d come to my town anyway. Bibb, you ever figure out who Michael Graves is singing for now? He was no Danzig but he was a hell of a front man when I saw him in a small club here about 8 years ago (American Psycho tour).

Love ya in Omaha Bibb and Yaz. Consider doing longer or more frequent shows! I’m starting to twitch like a crack baby when I don’t have a new B&Y to listen to…

Corby mah man. Thanks for listening and the great comment.

As far as Michael Graves goes, he has his own band now with another ex-Misfits. If I find the name I'll send it your way. He definently bought a whole new dynamic to the Misfits with his singing style. Weird thing is he never heard of the Misfits before he got the singing gig. Lucky bastid.

Yea, Bibb. I heard the same thing about that guy. He had to go and learn their entire history before he could do shows. When I saw'em years ago, after they did all their American Psycho stuff, they took requests from the crowd. Graves nailed every song thrown at him. Outstanding. Jerry Only and Doyle Von-what-the-fluck seemed even impressed with him. At one point in the show when Graves was going ape-shiznit (can we swear here?), those two looked over at each other with the big "what the hell" eyes, smiled briefly through their evil, and continued to tear it up.....awesome.

Anyway, I didn't get the chance to do an MP3 greeting for your show cuz my Audacity trial version was acting up. I did try, though, to make a "The *** of Yaz has spoken *clever musical ending*" clip for the next time your pal farts (it Never! gets old). I'll try again when there's not so much Corona in me.

I'd phone your 206 now but my wife's out with her cuz from Portland getting all smashed up and she's got my cell phone...bummer. We'll communicate another day. BTW, it's Sat. Call Yaz, get his *** to your place, and produce me another show so I've got something to take an hour away from the misery that is my pathetic life at work. Tnx you East Coast Bastards. Can't wait for the next Thing.

PS Your lady's momma beat the crap out of her old man lately? That story about your text message was great!

The pope segment was hilarious - hell, the whole show is hilarious. You know what - if you don't like it then just STOP LISTENING. Bibb and Yazz are in my top 3 of all podcasts.

Why thank you HiddenPooh. But I have questions about your name. Are you trying to say that Winnie the Pooh is hidden? And why would you hide Winnie the Pooh? Or are you actually hiding poo (the stinky kind) somewhere? Please fill me in.

I am the sad remains of the double act once known as "Crouching Tigger / Hidden Pooh". I have not heard from old Crouching in a while - last I heard he had got a job delivering Toblerone bars in the Wisconsin area

I didn't know Yaz was actually a member here. He's a good egg too that one. Rock on Hidden Pooh as Crouching Tiger/Hidden Pooh is probably the funniest name I've heard in a long *** time.

I can not believe you people!!! Here I am trying to divert people from listening to your horrendous show and now you've taken over my post and have new recruits to your trip to hell?!?! Corby, Atheism?! You poor child! You need to find yourself and take in the Good Lord Jesus as your personal savior. Also, stop listening to those horrible Bibb and Yaz guys..."Take over the world"? If anything at all they're a disgrace to the world. :x

Jesus Tabitha baby, lighten up! It's a couple of guys doing a podcast, not torching a church. No one is forcing you to listen, so sit back relax, and enjoy the Vatican’s podcast thing. Those of us on the express train to hell will be laughing the entire way there.

I have 3 theories:

1. It's one of your fans posing as a christian being sarcastic.
2. It's one of you posing as a christian being sarcastic.
3. It's one of your fans being completely sarcastic and only you wrongly assuming her to be a christian.

Either way, I highly doubt this woman is a christian. Her "christian" diaglogue comes off the same way that the slightly misunderstood slang you'd seen on "A Dangerous Mind" or another inner city movie does. You know, the kind of dialogue where it just feels like it was written by some middle aged white guy.

Here's why:

1. Her tag "tabitha 3:16". If she were a christian, especially of the protestant type, she would not replace the book of john with her name. Not that it's not possible, just odd and would be highly unusual.

2. She refers to the pope as "his Holiness" (with respectufl punctuation too boot), but alludes to "john 3:16". If she's protestant, she wouldn't refer to the pope as his holiness, and if she's catholic, she PROBABLY wouldn't allude to John 3:16. It's a phrase more often used by the evangelicals.

You need to find yourself and take in the Good Lord Jesus as your personal savior.

Again, it's like a soda pop version of what an evangelical would say. "Good Lord Jesus" is only used by 73 year old baptists. And yet again, earlier she refered to the pope as "his Holiness".

Yes, I know, I'm weird. It's just that I'm interested in the popular conception of christians and christian culture, and her dialogue stuck out to me as being odd.

2. It's one of you posing as a christian being sarcastic.
3. It's one of your fans being completely sarcastic and only you wrongly assuming her to be a christian.

FIRST: NONE OF THE ABOVE!!! I would NEVER associate myself with those ANIMALS!!!

SECOND: FYI- I am Southern Baptist. Also, I think that if you had ANY respect for your religion, if you yourself are even “Christian” you would know it is proper to capitalize Christian!!!

Here's why:

1. Her tag "tabitha 3:16". If she were a christian, especially of the protestant type, she would not replace the book of john with her name. Not that it's not possible, just odd and would be highly unusual.

THRID: My tag, Tabitha3:16, is merely a coincidence, I would never try to replace the book of John. 3/16 happens to be my BIRTHDAY!!! (Just around the corner too!!!) If you were taught as I was, you would know that it’s proper to refer to the Pope in a respectful manner. Also, you would again know to capitalize any religious names weather it’s in your own religion or not. IE: Priest, Pope, Father, Pastor, Minister, etc.

You need to find yourself and take in the Good Lord Jesus as your personal savior.

Again, it's like a soda pop version of what an evangelical would say. "Good Lord Jesus" is only used by 73 year old baptists. And yet again, earlier she refered to the pope as "his Holiness".

FOURTH: I think that if you have a problem with 73 year old Baptists, you should come here to WV and tell THEM that!!! They’ll be more than inclined to whip you with a switch since you clearly don’t have RESPECT!!!

Yes, I know, I'm weird. It's just that I'm interested in the popular conception of christians and christian culture, and her dialogue stuck out to me as being odd.

FIFTH: I think YOU are odd.

Believe what you want allthewhile, I know what is true and what is not.

I know that the "humor" of Bibb and Yaz is disgusting and immoral, and I don't think that their "humor" is appropriate behavior for anyone.

All I wanted to achieve from this post is for people to recognize that these two are just WRONG, on so many levels. I never wanted anyone to judge me or what I believe in.

Therefore allthewhile, if you don't mind too much, stop criticizing me, my actions, and my beliefs, and start telling people how horrible Bibb and Yaz are. If you believe yourself to be Christian, you will do what is right.

Tabitha and the choir boyrod guy need to lighten up. This topic is about Bibb and Yaz ****it, not arguments about which part of the bible tabitha is balspheming on with her forum name.

Bibb, Yaz (as Bibb says) you're both extremely good eggs and are keeping a bored guy from the UK in fits of laughter on my commute to (and from, long shows rock!) work. Keep it up guys, and god botheres stick to your own **** topics

Man who need tv with good time fun like one of these threads. People people people. The beauty about podcasting is that you can podcast whatever the hell you like. If you don't like it don't listen. As with anything comedy has different forms some comedy may be deemed offensive..but that's the way it goes. So keep up the podcasts Bib and yaz and if you don't like it don't listen. It's a free country.

...for a while anyways.
