It would be nice if someone hacked up a script to allow you to post a link to an mp3 on your site until it's been downloaded a certain amount of times, and then dynamically append the link to point towards the coral cache of it. That way you can allow for an initial fast download speed (coral has been known to be slo), regulate your bandwidth and allow a certain amount of downloads, but then have a safety net in place.

That would still not effect the initial slowness of Coral. Since the cache servers have to first cache it to various geographic servers to speed it up. I described somewhere else on here how to use round-robin DNS for helping to distrcute the load. But that is only if you have mirrors of your files elsewhere.
The best approach might be to just donwload your own show a few times once you post it going through a few geographic proxies to force cahcing on more than one server. Then see how much it speeds it up?
