I am looking to start a podcast. However, I have NO idea as to what I am doing or where to begin. Any info would be helpful.

Honestly, read through this forum, the techincal discussion forum, the software forum, and the hardware forum. You;ll have more than enough info there to find out gear, software, hosts, ways to feed, etc, etc to get you started.
