Great review. It's hard for me to tell one mic from another, however, and I'm torn between the Audio-Technica AT2020 and this one.

I am familiar with the AT 2020, however I have not tested it. If you send Kelly at KEL audio a note he might be able to explain the sonic differences betwwen the two mics.

Then it should be self-explanatory to get to the 2020 review. It sounds very good. I'm using the 3035 and really like it.

I also just ordered an MCA SP1, as a mic for guests to sit in on our podcast. Used on ebay without proper mic clip: $38 after shipping.

If you listen to our show, Jeanette is on an Oktava MK319 btw. (which I'm borrowing indefinitely) Not really good for the money in my opinion. We're getting a Studio Projects B 3 (which is switchable btw 3 polar patterns).
