So I've been twisting my partner's arm about making a commitment to podcasting, and I know that USA today has done this article (no doubt in the entertainment section or back in the nether-reaches of the paper).

And we're standing in line at a Starbucks on the Florida Turnpike waiting for a lattefix, and I'm twisting his arm so hard that beads of sweat are starting to form on his brow. "This is expanding far faster than I thought it would, " I say.

"Uh huh," he says patronizingly, and I look over and see, above the fold, right below the USA-Today logo, right on the front page, a big picture of an Ipod with a 36point podcasting story tease.

He's coming around.

I'm just wondering, how much has traffic increased on the site since these articles came out? The articles were hard to miss.

I know my traffic had a nice boost, and we were only mentioned in the top ten list...

I wasn't in the USA Today article but the AP article boosted my traffic 10x and it has settled down to 2x.
