I noticed that some people have been saying "I have X subscribers" - how can you tell that information?

I have weblogs of course - although can't analyse the podcasts cos they're on another server...but are there ant server scripts or tools for finding out?

I don't want to change my RSS URL by the way (I know feedburner does some stats but would be stress for everyone changing my feed). Are there any other ways of finding out?

I'm using Wordpress to drive it BTW.

There's an ongoing discussion on this here:

The bottom line is that until someone comes up with a script that goes through your weblog(s) and counts the number of times your podcasts have been downloaded (fully downloaded by unique visitors) by podcast aggregators there is no good way to tell.

aha...one thing I did was setup WebLogs Expert (unfortunately on trial which has now ended) to look for MP3 files...it did give me some of that info (Unique visitors per file)...it's 74 dollars, which is a bit moot at the moment since I'd love to buy it but don't have that extra cash until I get more work.

I'd guess you could tweak such weblogs software to filter for files or areas of your website tho?
