It is official!! Ring the bells, Politicians have found Podcasting!! Just today a politican by the name of Chacon (who is running for congress) made his first podcast... and submitted it to our site.

Speaking of old...how did this thread come back to life? It was posted Last January (2005) and it is now 2006. Of course this is old news now...but 12 months ago this was an important moment.

There was also a politician in the Boston area who used video blogging during his campaign too. Google the videoblogging group on Yahoo! Groups on this.

So in short, this latest political candidate wasn't the first to incorporate blogging, podcasting and/or videocasting into their PR campaign and he certainly won't be the last to do it either. :!:

Same goes with having a MySpace page. Though I've never heard of a politician with a MySpace page, the use of MySpace by politicians isn't far behind.
