I have all the computer equipment I need, what kind of Audio Equipment do I need to get started podcasting? I currently have a MAC OSX G4, 733mhz, 700mb RAM and Final Cut Pro and PEAK.

What software packages do I need to record a Podcast, add tracks (MP3's) for bumpers and stream the finished show? Do I need mixers, soundboards or anything else?

Well on Mac you can use Garageband or else grab the free and great Audacity:
http://audacity.sf.net

Just use one of those two with a decent mic. something new I have found is this:
http://www.dvforge.com/plug.shtml it is only $50 and looks as though it has great potential. You can also get a good mic for around $50-$100. So for less than $200 you can have a very high-end sounding production platform that is very modile!

Or if you have money to burn read this:

Hope that helps!
