Hi i have been busy collecting unsigned band demos in many different styles of music 4 our podcast and would like to share these tracks with other podcasters ideally i would like to set up a podsafe mp3 share with some casters but for now im happy to distribute the demos i allready have if your interested then let me know :D

Yes I'd love some podsafe non-RIAA/MCPS-PRS music!
What styles tho (I only tend to play electronic / eclectic / mashup tracks but would love to play more non-industry music)

Let's chat! I'd love to profile more bands. I've been doing so already but would love to do more.
I'll play just about anything. Prefer alternative, Rock, folk and electronica from time to time. Looking for only original stuff. No mash ups.

Question: Are free MP3s that bands (signed or unsigned) make available on the Web sites considered podsafe, given the fact that anyone can download them off the Web anyway? Just curious.

Nope. They still own the rights to them and you are supposed to get the rights to play them.

one of the best ways i have found to get podsafe tracks is to post on forums i have had an amazing response so far and if the bands are unsigned there is usually no problem getting tracks check out www.garageband.com as i have heart they will support podcasters

I also am always interested in discovery new bands and bringing them to the "masses" (lol).

sorry to everyone who has replied to me things are mad at the moment we are compiling the cds into mp3 format for those who want them that way and im happy to burn cds if thats easier 4 anyone give me a few days and i will start sending them out to you all

Glad to hear you are still out there Heart. Everyone hadn't been able to touch base with you and we were hoping nothing bad happened.
