Ok...what is the secret? I can't seem to figure this out. I have RSS creation software called "ListGarden", and it's great stuff, but still Greek to me.

Can someone, in simple English, tell me what to do, in a step by step manner?

Please note: I DO NOT speak techno-ese. I can, and have put podcasts on my blog site, and they work great, but how do I attach an RSS feed to each individual podcast?

Thanks,
Bear

btw, check out The Bear Cave at http://bear.staroftexas.net and give me some feedback.

Hate to tell you this, but rss is still fairly technical. My understanding is that radio userland - http://radio.userland.com/ is really good and simple for making rss feeds. I am using a site using php that parses my database to an xml file,, it was a pain to setup, but makes it easy to update.

If you have PHP available on your host, there's a great script from Ryan at Another hungry mind to feed : http://www.shadydentist.com/wordpress/software/dircaster

This is a great script, make sure your ID tags are set properly, and then put the MP3 in the same directory as the script.. Then point people to the script, and the RSS feed is automatically generated..

I've been using it since show 1, and the only time it didn't work was when I screwed up the tags by mistake..

Wow! What a great script... wish I would have known about it before. Thanks for the link.

The post is very old now but, I've found the creation of the actual RSS feeds can be a major problem for some. I have used this software 'Podcastgen' and found it to be very useful and easy to use.
