New-Records.com (http://www.news-record.com/news/local/radio120704.htm) had an article they wrote today comparing (in theory for everyday joe) satellite, digital fm, streaming audio and podcasting. The only downfall is, again, the author talks a lot about the iPod.
An Apple player isn’t a must if you want to access podcasts — MP3 players from Dell, Rio Audio and others can access some, but your options are more limited. Figure out what you want access to and check the Web sites before you take the plunge.
I seem to disagree with the limited options. I dont have an ipod and I dont see any limitations to receiving podcasts. Non the less, it was another article trying to introduce the concept to regualr folks, and being part of the podcasting world, appreciate that.
